Intro. The experience described within Frontera Energy refers to the activities developed with Pacific Stratus Energy, Pacific Rubiales Energy, Pacific Energy, and Frontera Energy. All these companies were involved in acquisitions that consolidated into Frontera Energy in 2017.

Responsible for the application of QA processes in engineering, manufacturing, construction and commissioning of production infrastructure and drilling materials and equipment.

• Developed and implemented the QA process in engineering, material, tools and drilling operations.

Cost estimation and visualization Mgr.                      July 2015 - Dec 2016

Responsible for the development and support of CAPEX infrastructure estimates and related performance indicators of exploration portfolio.Managed the elaboration of individual and differential metrics for 34 exploratory units for supporting ranking of exploration plans.

Gas Export (LNG) Project Mgr.                                  Oct. 2010 - May 2015

Responsible for the direction of development, definition and execution of the gas export project of 0.6 million tons per year (MTPA) of liquefied gas (LNG) to international markets from La Creciente field. Directed an interdisciplinary team of up to 35 people and responding to a budget dimension of 600 MMUSD.

• Developed, defined and carried out the construction of the first floating gas liquefaction project worldwide in conjunction with Exmar (Belgium) to export liquefied natural gas from La Creciente field.
• Managed the environmental licensing process of multiple options of gas pipeline and liquefaction port obtaining on-time environmental and social licenses for the base options.
• Developed the options strategy and selection of port concession, mitigating technical and operational oppositions to achieve approval in sync with environmental licensing.
• Developed the small-scale LNG concept in its technical, commercial, environmental, legal and regulatory structuring.
• Managed to generate interest in LNG in the region and integrated 5 indicative and 2 binding offers for liquefaction, transport and regasification to clients in the Caribbean and Central America (Exmar-Pacific).
• Managed to implement project closing scheme due to falling crude oil and gas prices at the beginning of 2015, minimizing commercial consequences for the company.

Pacific Stratus Projects Mgr.                                  Sept 2007-Sept 2010

Management of engineering and construction projects at Pacific Stratus Energy.

• Completed the construction and startup of the gas processing plant of La Creciente field (35 MMSCFD) in Fast Track to start production only after 13 months after discovery.
• Directed the design and construction of the expansion of La Creciente field to increase production to 65 MMSCFD.
• Directed the design and construction of a gas quality correction system of La Creciente field for its startup in only 10 months.
