La Creciente gas gathering and treatment - compression plant concept was developed early 2007 by the team that later joined Pacific Stratus at 3Q 2007. First gas from La Creciente was delivered to the "Sistema Nacional de Transporte" (SNT) early january 2008. The initial plant capacity was 40 mmscfd and later expanded to 60 mmscfd once the public pipeline expansion expanded through a 6" loop (Promigas). The plant comprised primary and test separation and dehydration. Later incorporation of remote wells required adding hydrocarbon dew point (HCDP) correction through a Joule-Thonsom expansion loop with recompression to deliver gas at 1,200 psig to the measuring and custody transfer station (San Mateo) at 12 km away at the tie-in point at the gas trunk pipeline.
